Marriage and Family series, “Want a Better Marriage? Function as One, Rather than Selfishly”

Today, we are going to look at how healthy marriages have been set up to function like Christ and the church. Again, marriage is to be a living display of the love relationship between Christ and His bride the Church. We recognize that God is God and we are not, yet, in marriage, society and even our personalities may work against the concept of the husband being the leader and the wife being the helper in marriage. Even in the church, marriages are not functioning in a healthy way because passive husbands will not lead or are not allowed to by an aggressive wife. Today we are going to learn the structure for how God intends marriages to function well. — 6:00pm Saturday Worship at St. Michael’s Academy
