“Whenever you go into a fast food restaurant, inevitably you will hear these words, ‘Is this for here or to go?’ As we gather here today this is a question that we must ask ourselves. If we are God’s children who belong to His church, this means that Jesus has changed everything, the gospel is growing in us, and around us. Is this happening in your life? If so, then let’s ask the question again, ‘Is this for here or to go?’ This morning, we need to be reminded that, ‘The church goes.” We need to be the church gathered, but we also need to be the church scattered.’ So if the church is supposed to go, then what we need to ask, ‘Who is the church?’ ‘Why doesn’t the church go?’” — 10:30am Sunday Worship St. Michael’s Academy

“Recently my little girl turned 2. I still can’t believe it! Where did my baby go? Answer is simple, they grow up. That’s what babies do, they grow into toddlers, they grow into children, they grow into teenagers, and they grow into adults. From the minute babies are born they are constantly changing, growing, and maturing. Why? Because they are alive, that’s what babies do, they grow up!

“When you plant a tree, a shrub, or flowers correctly in the ground what happens? They grow. We shouldn’t be shocked or surprised when this happens because this is what trees, shrubs, and flowers do. They are alive, they grow!

“The same principle applies in relation to the gospel. The gospel is a message of life. This morning we need to understand this, ‘The gospel grows.’” — 10:30am Sunday Worship St. Michael’s Academy
